Getting Started

Initial setup and basic usage of SpaceHound.

Setup

SpaceHound requires Accessibility permission to intercept keyboard events and manage windows.

On first launch, the setup window appears:

  1. Click Open Settings to open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility.
  2. Enable SpaceHound in the list.
  3. The app detects the change automatically and restarts into the menu bar.

Menu Bar

SpaceHound runs as a menu bar app. The tray icon displays the current workspace number.

Click the icon to access:

  • Settings... — open the settings window
  • Hide — hide the menu bar icon
  • Quit — exit SpaceHound
